Powder Packing
Powder Packing is just one of the many toll manufacturing services offered by leading UK chemical suppliers ReAgent. We are able to pack powders in a range of pack sizes and containers and specialise in powder packing sachets. We manufacture safely and efficiently and work in accordance with all current chemical legislation such as CHiP, GLS and CLP. The services we provide as powder packers are accredited to a number of internationally-recognised quality and environmental Standards.
In addition to powder packing, we are able to quote for bulk filling, bottling, toll chemical blending and speciality chemicals. As contract manufacturers, we routinely manufacture, pack, label and ship to customers specific requirements using customer-supplied labels and dispatching direct to the end user where required. Many of our customers are ‘blue chip’ companies whose names are recognised worldwide. However, we also act as a powder packer for smaller organisations and strive to ensure that we maintain our excellent customer service for which we are famed.
Our customer base covers a diverse range of industry sectors including pharmaceuticals, the food industry, engineering, the automotive industry, power generation and water treatment, to name but a few. With full accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System and IIP (Investors in People) you can be confident when you ask ReAgent to handle your powder packing requirements. We are currently working towards ISO 18001 Health and Safety Standard which we hope to achieve by the end of next year.
With over 35 years in the chemical industry we believe that we are ideally placed to handle virtually all demands of a powder packer. Our staff are highly qualified professionals with a wealth of ‘hands on’ expertise and knowledge. We provide full personal protective equipment (PPE) to all staff as appropriate to the job they are doing. This includes safety footwear and safety overalls, approved eye protection and compatible safety gloves, walk-in fume extraction, respirators and full face masks all of which assist us in maintaining our excellent safety record.
Our Technical Sales Team offers free technical support and advice and would be pleased to discuss any particular requirements you may have, for example a specific chemical blending request or a particular type of container. Many of our customer requests are ‘one off’ jobs and may be specific to that particular industry or even that customer. We also have routine powder packing jobs which we perform on a regular basis.
