ISO 14001:2004
ISO 14001:2004 is an internationally-accepted Standard that sets the criteria for implementing an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). In order to gain accreditation to this standard a company has to address a number of issues such as:-
• Setting out an Environmental Policy
• Developing and implementing a Company-wide Environmental System
• Setting out aims and objectives
• Setting targets
• Ongoing improvement
ReAgent first gained accreditation to BS 8555 in 2009, an alternative standard to the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System. Full accreditation to this prestigious Standard was achieved in 2010 when ReAgent was formally awarded ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System status. Ongoing accreditation depends on an organisation maintaining its system with a review at least once a year and a renewal process every three years.
In addition to ISO 14001:2004, ReAgent is fully accredited to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and currently working towards ISO 18001 Health & Safety System. We hope to achieve the ISO ‘hat-trick’ by the end of next year. ReAgent is a recognised Investor in People (IIP).
