ReAgent is registered with The British Safety Council, the government-regulated awarding body which campaigns to help businesses develop their health, safety and environmental practices. As a leading chemical supplier, we understand the importance of working safely when handling and working with hazardous substances. We comply with all Health & Safety requirements and are fully committed to maintaining our excellent safety record.
At ReAgent we take health, safety and environmental matters very seriously and are pleased to be recognised as a ‘green’ chemical Company. We are justifiably proud of our accreditation to Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001:2004 which requires continuous improvement with an audit at least once every year with a renewal process taking place every three years.
All staff are trained in safe handling and the Company carries out regular Risk Assessments on practices and equipment. Operators are issued with full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) appropriate to the job they are performing. This includes approved eye protection, safety clothing, protective footwear and compatible safety gloves. Full face masks and respirators are used when required and we have a bespoke fume extraction system with walk-in fume cupboards.
ReAgent is currently working towards ISO 18001 Health & Safety Standard which we hope to achieve by the end of the year. We have full accreditation to ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standard and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Standard. ReAgent has been awarded Investor in People (IIP) status.
